Despite the Governor vowing to go back to the drawing board on proposed fare hikes and service cuts throughout the MBTA system, the T-Rider’s Union felt it was still important to ensure that the community’s voice was heard on the issues.

The Boston Area Youth Organizing Project is leading a campaign to create a youth pass that will allow Boston residents under the age of 21 to afford public transportation. With the help of this video, BYOP and REEP were able to secure the use of student passes up until 11:00. They are still organizing around other transportation issues.
