The Funder’s Collaborative on Youth Organizing released their 2010 Youth Organizing Field Scan this month. The survey of 160 youth organizing groups reflected many of the realities facing such groups in Boston. To explore the issue in context, Press Pass TV interviewed youth organizing groups at the 14th Annual REEP Youth Summit.

The Boston Area Youth Organizing Project is leading a campaign to create a youth pass that will allow Boston residents under the age of 21 to afford public transportation. With the help of this video, BYOP and REEP were able to secure the use of student passes up until 11:00. They are still organizing around other transportation issues.
