Site Based Programs:

Organizations and schools hire Press Pass TV to provide exciting and innovative courses, workshops and curricula in media literacy, production, and action! Our Site-Based Program meets young people where they are at, as consumers of media, and leads them through an interactive learning experience where they become critical thinkers, community producers, and change agents.

Through partnerships with community based organizations and schools, we give students the tools and skills to make a change in their communities through video journalism and social action.

Community Connect Programs:

Community organizations work with Press Pass TV to produce compelling solution oriented videos to increase their impact. Our Community Connect Program builds the storytelling capacity of organizations working with youth for change. In collaboration with mission-based organizations, we engage young people in advocacy journalism projects to increase the reach and impact of their message.

Focusing on public relations strategy, short form news, and creative video projects, organizations receive training, support, and professional development for youth in their programs, and powerful videos to share their work for change with the world. The Community Connect program is funded primarily through grants so that financial means are not a barrier to participation for grassroots organizations.

Lab Programs:

Houses new and exciting projects like our Rapid Response Team and our Media Leadership Institutes. For students who are on track toward media careers or those who are ready to take more ownership in building the future of Press Pass TV, the Lab is a place for innovative ideas and new solutions.
For example, our Rapid Response Team consists of experienced youth who cover urgent stories that are often overlooked by other media outlets and turn them around quickly for release
