Gabriel Mugar
A 2004 Graduate of Boston University, Gabriel has spent the past four years working as a freelance video producer and educator. He has produced extensively for the international news network Current TV, and has taught in the Boston Public Schools for four years.
Joanna Marinova
With a B.S. in International Relations and Economics from the University of Toronto, Joanna has solid corporate experience having worked for Citizens Bank and Wellington Financial Management. She was the founder and president of Women in Life Learning, a Toronto based nonprofit. Joanna has over 5 years of experience and a proven track record in management, operations and development work in nonprofits.
Cara Lisa Powers
With over 8 years non-profit youth work experience, Cara holds an MA in Transformative Media Arts from Goddard College and a BA in Screen Studies with a focus in Urban Development/Social Change. Cara has overseen program development and implementation for youth media programs in Boston, Lowell, and Worcester, and has facilitated workshops at several local and national conferences, including the Action Coalition for Media Education (ACME) National Conference, the Women, Action and Media Conference, the Be the Media Conference, and the National Conference for Media Reform.
Thomas Brand
