A Good Week for Good News!
February 12, 2010A new study in Psychological Science this week finds that watching people do good things makes you want to do good things also. This is good news for people who like good news, like we do here at Press Pass TV. Turns out, there is scientific evidence to support what we here at Press Pass have suspected all along- that providing quality uplifting news about people that are making a difference our communities can make other people want to make a difference as well.
Also, we’ve got some pretty good news of our own to share- This Spring, Press Pass TV and Dongoson Productions’ Mr. President will be featured in the Emerson Los Angeles Film Festival. Also, we’ll be presenting at two local conferences, sharing what we’ve learned about the role that Professional Development plays in Youth Development. Catch us at the BEST Intitiative’s Youth Work Intensive and the DELTAS Bridging the Gap Conference.

We’re excited to announce that Mr. President will be screening on Thursday, October 22nd at the Hard Rock Cafe! Call Jon Sproul at 617.519.3106 for more information.
Emerson Alum & Professor (and producer of “Friends”) Kevin Bright is offering free TV Production classes for BPS Students. This is a great opportunity to get to use some serious professional equipment and experience a college campus. Classes run mid October to the beginning of December, and the deadline to apply is NEXT WEEK!
