See This and Many Other Stories Tomorrow Night

August 26, 2009

Tonight (Thursday, August 27), Press Pass TV is hosting uncommon which you can get more information about by clicking on the link, or scrolling below. At the event, we hope to engage that national community, coming to the National Media Arts and Culture (NAMAC) conference a little bit in the Boston community.

Here at Press Pass TV, we pride ourselves on our responsiveness to and involvement in the work being done in our community to make it safe, healthy, and equitable for all. Part of our mission is to support other organizations that are doing important work. This year we’ve had the pleasure of making stories in partnership with organizations like Project RIGHT, the Boston-area Youth Organizing Project, the Louis D. Brown Peace Institute and the City School. Below you will find a piece about another important community organization, Reflect and Strengthen

Reflect and Strengthen is doing work necessary to the safety and livelihood of all of the young women that are members of the organization. However we also believe that we would not be able to do our work the way we do without the support of R&S. Like other organizations, we benefit from staff and youth that have the support of R&S membership, and urge other members of the community to stand in support of this vital organization. We hate to think how different Boston would be without them.
